BrevityThing: because sometimes less is more

Blimey.  Here we go.  A few nips and tucks, a little re-writing, and there you go.  A website.  No idea if this will take off or not - we'll just have to see.

Bugs with the site seem to have been resolved (shout if there's something obviously wonky) and we've been spending the last couple of days on shameless publicity whoring (well, a bit of harvesting email addresses and other contacts to friendly places), and a few bits for the opening day on the first.

We're not quite sure if we can run to a celebrity looky-likey, a red ribbon and a large pair of comedy prop scissors, but we'll see what we can do...

I've been spending the last couple of evenings tussling with various bits and bobs of the site - trying to make things work, basically.  Grrr.  Ah well.

Here's a question.  What kind of fiction would you like featured?  Personally, Team Brevity doesn't have a preference for or against any genre of writing.  We'd like to be a broad enough church to welcome all worshippers of the word.

That being said, would you like the site to have some kind of greater definition (or perhaps have zoned/themed areas within it)?  Let us know, or we'll just make up our own rules...

We're firmly in the "getting stuff sorted out" zone.  Bear with us.  1st Feb, the dustsheets come off, and the whitewash gets wiped off the windows.
